The Oscars: Reading Between The Lines & Finding Conservative Values

Rarely do I watch award shows. After the twerking episode on MTV’s American Music Awards, I am even more leery of any part of pop-culture that is dominated by the left. However, I did tune in to watch the Oscars, and what I saw was quite surprising. And after some reflection, I am slightly encouraged at what I view to be pushback against the left coast, left wing status quo.

You just knew it was gonna be an interesting twist to conventional liberal media when at the end of her monologue Ellen DeGeneres held nothing back and poked fun at the obvious 900 pound gorilla in the room, and it was hilarious. Could it be that the faithful have, at least, begun to have their fill of liberal social engineering?
