Patrick Werner of Americans for Prosperity talks their strategy for attacking the tax increases on the April ballots in Missouri and also gives an update on Right To Work. Gary Wiegert explains the Arch Tax, otherwise know as Prop P and why all Missourians should be informed about this money grab. Ben Evans of Heritage Action keeps Missouri updated on national issues and also sheds light on Ed Martin, Lance Beshore, Catherine Hanaway Rules Committee debacle. Tom Martz, of Locke and Smith, talked Yankee Doodle Legislation and other legislative updates.

Some legislation to follow:

SB 265 and HB 42 are Agenda 21 bills that are deserving of your attention. SB265 has been assigned a hearing, in the General Laws Committee, on March 5th at 3:00 p.m. Plan to attend if you can. HB42 was voted out of committee and is moving to the House for debate. Please email the House of Representatives and tell them to support HB42. See the list of email addresses in the side bar.

Support Ed Emery and SB 239. This bill prohibits school districts from requiring a student to use an identification device that uses radio frequency identification technology to identify the student, transmit information regarding the student, or monitor or track the location of the student. Missouri Education Watchdog has covered this issue, extensively, and gives details here.
